Ms. Levi has litigated a variety of disputes in both federal and state courts, and has handled claims before the United States Equal Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), the California Labor Commission, the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, and the San Francisco Human Rights Commission.

Ms. Levi’s employment practice includes the litigation of cases arising from claims of wrongful termination and wage and hour violations, as well as those stemming from violations of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Pregnancy Disability Leave Act (PDLA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the California Family Rights Act (CFRA) and California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA).  She has handled cases involving myriad issues, including discrimination on the basis of race, sex, age, religion, gender, disability and sexual orientation, as well as claims of sexual harassment,  retaliation, and unfair competition.

In addition to her employment practice, Ms. Levi has litigated a wide variety of commercial disputes, including contract and business tort suits.  She has successfully handled numerous mediations and settlement conferences, and has extensive experience in resolving litigation by pre-trial motion.

Ms. Levi earned her B.A. degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Northridge in 1992.  She earned her J.D. degree from U.C. Hastings College of the Law in 1995, where she served as Senior Managing Editor of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly, and as an extern to the California Supreme Court.  Following completion of her legal studies, Ms. Levi served as a law clerk for Magistrate Judge Joan S. Brennan of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

Ms. Levi is currently a member of several legal organizations.  She has served as a grader for the California Bar Examination and as a delegate to the California State Bar Convention, and is active in several non-legal volunteer organizations.
