Christina Stephenson received her Juris Doctorate from The University of Oregon School of Law in 2009 with concentrations in Public Service, Pro Bono, and International Law. Ms. Stephenson earned a B.A. in International Service from The American University in 2005. At both institutions, Ms. Stephenson received numerous scholarships and awards for her academic and civic achievement.
Ms. Stephenson has a wide range of legal experience from clerking at the Western Environmental Law Center, the Center for Constitutional Rights, and the U.S. District Court of Oregon. Further, Ms. Stephenson is trained in both facilitative mediation and restorative justice.
In addition to her clerking experience, Ms. Stephenson has been active in volunteering her time, most recently with organizations such as the Student Hurricane Network, Legal Aid Society, Public Interest Environmental Law Conference, Student Animal League Defense Fund, Oregon Law Students Public Interest Fund, and the Loan Repayment Assistance Program.
In 2009, her award-winning article, “Reproductive Outsourcing to India: WTO Obligations in the Absence of U.S. National Legislation,” was published in the Journal of World Trade.
Ms. Stephenson is a member of the National Lawyers Guild, American Bar Association, National Employment Lawyers Association, and California Employment Lawyers Association. |
